Earlier in the week, multiple Democrats defended far-left claims against the Betsy Ross flag, after athlete-turned-activist Colin Kaepernick declared the Revolutionary War-era flag to be a “racist” symbol.
The suggestion ignite a firestorm of debate, and served to further divide Americans at our most important national holiday, the celebration of our independence.
Interestingly, however, many astute social media users quickly pointed out that the left’s collective outrage was noticeably absent when the Betsy Ross flag was displayed during former President Barack Obama’s inauguration.
